About Us
We developed the Holistic PCOS Method because we were frustrated by all the competing information out there, and the lack of natural support from our doctors.
After all, if PCOS is a lifelong diagnosis, shouldn’t we know how to exercise, eat, and take care of ourselves to keep our condition in check, regardless of whether we want medication or not?
Yet when our founder, Sam, asked her doctor how to treat her PCOS naturally without going back on the pill, he just laughed and replied: “there is no fixing this. Just go back on the pill until you want to get pregnant and then you can look into IVF if you can’t conceive.”
As a nutritionist, she knew there was more she could do to put her wellbeing back into her own hands. So she set off to compile all the research and best-practices into one complete program that she—and others like her—could follow to manage PCOS for life.
And that’s how the Holistic PCOS Method was born—the revolutionary system that teaches you how to use food, movement, and self care to keep your symptoms in check.
PCOS is a lifelong diagnosis, which means you deserve to know exactly how to care for yourself (and your unique PCOS type) to keep your symptoms in check—for life.
And that starts with understanding what’s causing your symptoms, and what you can do about it.
Our research-backed 3-pronged system focuses on a core foundation of self-care practices that put you back in control of your body and your diagnosis:
Food
The healthiest diet is one that tastes good and that makes you feel good—inside and out. We take a non-deprivation, whole-food approach to eating for PCOS (because who wants to live to 100 without cake anyway?)
You’ll start off with three weeks of delicious, balanced meal plans while we lay the foundations. Then, you’ll take the reins and set up your own meal prep system that works for you & your lifestyle. That way, you’ll feel comfortable and confident crafting your own PCOS plate, anytime, anywhere (meal plan not required).
We take it step-by-step so it never feels like a diet. Students generally report being surprised by how easy it was to make the shift to a PCOS-friendly diet, because we take it in bite-sized steps.
Movement
When it comes to PCOS and hormone balance, not all exercise is created equal—and the old “sweat more, eat less” equation just doesn’t work for us.
So what does?
In this program, you’ll learn which types of exercise improve your PCOS symptoms—and which popular ones can make them worse.
You’ll also learn the science of how to create a healthy workout routine that you’ll actually stick to and enjoy, using a healthy mix of movement that both challenges and restores you.
Students also get special discounted access to our 1:1 personal training program + app, Leaner Stronger PCOS, designed specifically for your PCOS type and lifestyle.
Self-Care
PCOS is a metabolic condition that gets worse with stress, yet we don’t often see that discussed.
We cover everything you need to know about how stress impacts PCOS, and what to do about it.
And no, we don’t just mean “meditate and take a bubble bath” (even if that does sound great).
We’ll help you set up real, powerful, impactful self care routines to help you manage physical and emotional stress, get better sleep, and finally feel motivated and energized.
In the words of one student, “it’s like I’m becoming the person I wanted to be without even realizing it.”
Sound Familiar?
We’ve been there — feeling uncomfortable and embarrassed in your body, never knowing when it’s going to betray you again.
You end up down the Google rabbit hole, but by the end of it you’re overwhelmed, hopeless, and even more confused than before. Should you go keto? Vegan? Paleo? What about this supplement? Or the one your favorite blogger swears by? Maybe this new acne product will finally stop the breakouts??
Yet, no matter what you try, nothing seems to get better. You still feel like your body has a mind of its own.
You almost feel like you can’t trust your body.
Some days you just want to scream at it, “what do you want?? Just tell me and I’ll give it to you!”
But here’s the thing—your symptoms aren’t irrational; they’re your body’s only way to tell you something’s wrong.
And we’re going to teach you how to interpret what they’re telling you, so you can stop playing guessing games and finally address the root cause.
All you need is the step-by-step system. And that’s where we come in.
PCOS doesn’t have to hold you back from living your dream life.
You feel like you can’t trust your body, and you never know when you’re going to have a flare up.
When it comes to diet, you just want to know what’s right for your body, but you have no idea where to start.
Your period comes irregularly (if at all), you’re anxious to leave the house without makeup on because the breakouts have gotten so bad, and you can’t seem to stop playing whack-a-mole with the random chin hairs (and maybe you’ve even started to wonder if your hair is thinning, but it’s hard to tell).
You feel like you’re stuck at a weight you don’t feel comfortable at, yet no matter what you eat or how you exercise, nothing seems to change.
Your mood changes like the wind, and you feel like a victim to your intense cravings.
You dream of bigger things, but you’re too burnt out and exhausted to finally start that side hustle or hobby.
The best news? All of that’s about to change over the next 8 weeks.
